Not really. We just need to register with the local school board every year and say we are homeschooling and at certain grade levels (I think my son needs to do one soon). They have to take a test at the school to verify they are at the level you say they are. I am not sure this is actually mandatory but it definitely helps for when they want to apply to universities.
