Do you mean to join SN? I really doubt he would even entertain the idea. Personally, I think Peter is either (a) a bad actor, or (b) forced to remain anti-bitcoin because his business relies on managing client funds which specializes in gold miners' stock. Either way, him coming around to bitcoin would lose him business, so it'll never happen.

Yes to SN. he is vocal for years about btc. now that he can see btc at work he should try some native internet experience with it. imagine a bitcoiner who never saw gold shine.

Even when there are applications built on Bitcoin, people like Peter still won't get it. To stick with your metaphor, even if he sees the shine and we built jewelry or electronics with gold he'd insist they'll corrode and fail any day now.
He thinks money has to be a commodity and that it's not merely a coincidence that some commodities historically have also been used as money. People like him are hopeless until they realize money is a ledger and that the market picks the one with the best features.
