We know OKC is likely looking into adding another big to the roster. One that can rebound but also be able to space the floor and make shots. That's why Markkanen looks like a very good fit. But are there any other alternative guys that you guys think might work?
How about Vucevic? Better rebounder and good post defender. Put Vuc at the 5 and Chet at the 4. Chet is tall and all, yes, but I think he is too skinny and lightweight to play the 5 in the NBA. Just throwing ideas around.
Also, in terms of not adding a big at the trade deadline, I agree they wanted to see how these young guys will do in a high pressure playoff situation. Having success in the regular season doesn't necessarily mean success in the post season. But they will definitely be making moves this summer.
I was thinking about Kevin Love as a role player option. He basically only does three things anymore (rebound, outlet pass, shoot 3's) and they're exactly the right three things for OKC. He's also regarded as one of the best mentors and locker room guys in the league.

A good veteran in that locker room would be very beneficial.
