Yeah, your submissions have been awesome to hear, but if you enjoy that hard rock sound, GnR you got a great bunch to pick from.

Just the right charge to start the day! Great song, but is there any Guns song that isn't? 😉

Don't go looking at the Chinese democracy album. It's technically GnR but it's just not very good.

Certainly there were high expectations for that album. However, it's also true that those who have experienced "Welcome to the jungle," "Paradise city," "Don't cry," "Sweet child o' mine," "November rain," "You could be mine"... have a hard time appreciating any of Guns' other musical works..

For sure. If CD had been released by a band that didn't have those high expectations on them, I think it would be looked at much more favourably but unfortunately it's got some pretty big shoes to compete with, especially seeing as it took a decade to release.

It's true. And in all these years, Axl was looking for perfection..
Maybe in another 20 years this album will also receive the recognition it deserves. As has happened to many other greats in the music scene.

Tbh I felt that way about the crusade album from trivium. Any other band and it would have been an absolute banger, but it didn't sound like what we had to come to know as their sound.
Several years later and that album is one of my favourites, it's really well put together and some of the guitar work is awesome.
