Hahahahahaha 😂😂😂 that's fantastic!

Everyone loves Sly in Rocky, but I always preferred the Rambo movies over the Rocky franchise. But they're both awesome.
reply
Me too. In fact, I have never watched the Rocky movies yet.
reply
Homework time for you Satosora! You got movies to enjoy!
reply
No, Im not really interested. But I did like Cobra and his car.
reply
Fair enough.
reply
Which song was also in the running for Rocky and would later feature on another 80s fight based film?
reply
Oooooo I dunno! Push it to the limit maybe?
reply
Joe Esposito ‘Your the Best’
reply
You will crane kick yourself you don’t get it…
reply
Groan! I didn't see that coming. Joe Esposito. Well, that was a whole load of fun facts. Today's been great! Did you see the stuff about ice cube? That was really fun!
reply
Yeah. Some days here are half-education and half-memory lane. Nice mix and no one trying to outdo anyone else.
reply
I agree, I think we've managed to foster a decent atmosphere of people who just want to share Tracks with each other and appreciate whatever music comes their way.
reply
Just enjoy the souvenir :)
reply
Does anyone remember when U2 pushed their album on itunes?
reply
U2 one of my favorite band back in the days :)
reply
Great choice! They were my first concert in 1997 in Rome, 70,000 people!! Delirium. Fantastic. I love them.
reply
Awesome! Sounds like a wicked concert, where in Rome did they play? Any cool stadium's or interesting venue?
reply
yeah, these guys are getting old though. I just heard bono has eye problems, thats why he is always squinting or wearing sunglasses.
reply
There may be some aches and pains due to age. He should be 60 years old, but he will still be Bono! Maybe he can do concerts until he is 80; he'll be a highlander like Mick Jagger.😂
reply
At that time they played at an old military airport in Rome, called Roma Urbe, and it was the first date in Italy of the Popmart Tour. Now concerts in Rome are held in the city's stadium, the Stadio Olimpico.
reply
I think I still have the bloody songs somewhere. When people cared more about unrequested music than malware…
reply
Ahhh the limewire days Linkin_Park_Numb_WORKING_NOT_MALWARE.mp3 😂
reply
Oh yes…. ‘It’s illegal to upload not illegal to download’ was the common cry…
reply
Things were simpler back then 🤣
reply
Look at this crowd! They were nicely organized.
reply
Great track satosora 👊 U2 are great and this track is brilliant.

What a Song!!
reply
This song is actually beautiful, I heard it on the radio a couple weeks back and I loved it. Those vocals are gorgeous.
reply
Today it's two for the price of one 😂

Fontaines D.C. - A Hero's Death
Fontaines D.C. - Boys In The Better Land
reply
Double the fun! This screams 70s/80s punk to me. Sort of like the clash, I think I can hear that kinda influence in there somewhere.
reply
I can hear those influences too, and they're good ones!
reply
i ve discovered the band a few weeks ago :)
reply
These times I'm tryna live a life of silence over a life of violence Man, fuck a hype ting
reply
Ok! Here we go! This is something different for me! Got wicked flow. Grime? Drill? I can't usually tell the difference to be honest. But he's killing it.

RIP Prince 🫡 bow in the presence of greatness.
An absolute legend, and such an incredible musician. Great choice.

Closer to Somewhere - The Retrograde
Another single released this week for the Retrograde's first album! It should be coming out the end of June.
reply
I getting hype for this album now, these last two tracks have been great!
reply
I'm pretty sure it's going to be good if the singles are anything close to the rest of the album! I'll try to remember to create a post when it comes out.
reply
Yeah, I'm looking forward to it, I hope the singles aren't just all the best tracks and the rest of the album is just filler, so many albums fall into that trap. But I remain optimistic!
reply
Yeah, too many groups do that unfortunately. We'll find out I guess!

Listening to Ice Cube this morning and saw this in the comments.
So when, exactly, did Ice Cube have his Good Day? Lets find out:
CLUE 1: “went to short dogs house, they was watching Yo MTV RAPS.”
Yo MTV RAPS first aired: Aug 6th 1988
CLUE 2: Ice Cubes single “today was a good day” released on: Feb 23 1993
CLUE 3: ”The Lakers beat the Super Sonics” Dates between Yo MTV Raps air date (AUGUST 6, 1988) and the release of the single (FEBRUARY 23 1993) where the Lakers beat the Super Sonics: Nov 11, 1988: 114-103 Nov 30, 1988: 110-106 Apr 4, 1989: 115-97 Apr 23, 1989: 121-117 Jan 17, 1990: 100-90 Feb 28, 1990: 112-107 Mar 25, 1990: 116-94 Apr 17, 1990: 102-101 Jan 18, 1991: 105-96 Mar 24, 1991: 113-96 Apr 21, 1991: 103-100 Jan 20, 1992: 116-110
CLUE 4: Dates of those Laker wins over SuperSonics where it was a clear day with no Smog: Nov 30, 1988 Apr 4, 1989 Jan 18, 1991 Jan 20, 1992
CLUE 5: “Got a beep from Kim, and she can ** all night.” Beepers weren’t adopted by mobile phone companies until the 1990s. Dates left where mobile beepers were availible to public: Jan 18, 1991 Jan 20, 1992
CLUE 6: Ice Cube starred in the film “Boyz in the hood” that released late Summer of 1991, but was being filmed from mid-late 1990 to early 1991. Ice Cube was busy on set filming the movie Jan 18, 1991. Too busy to be lounging around the streets with no plans.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
The ONLY day where: Yo MTV Raps was on air, It was a clear and smogless day, Beepers were commercially sold, The Lakers beat the SuperSonics, and Ice Cube had no events to attend was…
JANUARY 20, 1992 'National Good Day Day' 😂😂😂
reply
I love this! People with time on their hands doing good work 😂😂

Oooooo that's awesome! Amazing talent!
As far as beatboxing goes, DLow or Codfish might be my favourites, such great musicality. Their Vs in 2018 was awesome!

Good day Stackers!!
Every once in a while the great Bowie needs to be remembered. He always puts me in a good mood. I didn't know which masterpiece to choose, in the end I opted for The Man Who Sold The World.
reply
RIP Bowie 🫡 bow in the presence of greatness. Such a fantastic musician.
