It's one of those cool small things in SF that I love to think about and love seeing addressed in books and shows.

One of the early signals of whether or not I'm going to like a Sci-Fi story is if they get into these kind of practicalities.
I do think we will eventually have bio printers that can replicate most things but maybe not in our time.
