Yeah, I have noticed the same. 
The best you can do is post as early as you can so it can be seen. 
I have noticed if I post stuff at night it just gets buried. 

There is definitely a weekday eastern/central time zone posting advantage.

I agree, but if you look at the graphs for when people post, when we are on everyone else is off.

 when we are posting, most arent replying.
