I'd like to find a place where I can read free eBooks, with books ranging from "Guns, Germs, and Steel" to "The Righteous Mind", or "Sapiens", that kinda stuff.
Anyone who can' point me in the right direction?
https://annas-archive.org/ and https://libgen.rs/ are my primary places to search these days. Other than your local library if they offer a program like Libby.

Was about to recommend Anna's Archive. I respect their explicit and principled flouting copyright laws. I wish them luck.

Choose from the list. All sites are worth giving a look at.

The "PROMETEA" group on Telegram frequently leaves very good books.

Being security minded, are we aware of any bad players here? Like free pron sites, free ebook sites are known to have malware. Can we collectively come to an agreement on known bad actors?

Use a device that isn't going to bring you in trouble in the case of malware.

I was going to make a new post, but can we do this for music too?
I am still "old school" and I like to have the music on my laptop/phone, I avoid using Spotify et al.
