I disagree. I think it’s the opposite.
Example: exercise
Discipline is exercising on days you don’t feel motivated.
Discipline is how you fight lack of motivation

I can see that. I was thinking about it from the perspective of building discipline. I don’t think you can become a disciplined person without motivation but I agree once you build a habit of being disciplined it can carry you when you are not motivated.

According to me, addiction is when you have a strong physical or psychological need or urge to do or use something. It is a dependence on a substance or activity, even if you know it is harmful to you. It can interfere with your daily life.
