The infamous rock of El Tunco. I'm told it looks like a pig, which why you often see a pig as the symbol of El Tunco.
My hotel bar accepts Bitcoins alongside many other payment options.
View from one of the nicer resorts along the river.
Katherine Diaz was a pro surfer from the region. She died in March 2021 after being struck by lightning in the water off El Tunco.
