I doth protest with my man Steady Eddie, EE, The Parrot Walker, Edwin Encarnacion being on this list. He was fun loving but not lazy and once they got him off of 3rd base he was a highly productive player for the Blue Jays in the mid 2010s when they were making their deep playoff runs. I was there when he hit the walk off homer in the 2016 WC against the Orioles. The energy in the stadium and spilling out onto the streets after was incredible.
Now he is a special assistant with the Blue Jays and might have been the one that fixed Vladdy Jr. I don't know but he didn't start hitting until Eddie E was in the dugout.

It's interesting to read an old article like this. Guys are in the midst of their careers, and reputations change.

I think a lot of latin players get a bad wrap as lazy or unprofessional. I think it's just a cultural difference. They like to have fun while playing.
