I felt I hoarded too many, so I just let them go.
Family pictures and other stuff is more important to me.
Fortunately I have the space to keep both, so I do. But if it came down to my pictures or my shows, the shows would disappear very quickly!
Yeah, for me it didnt come down to it.
But you have to remember, I am not going to downsize further.
I am only going to be taking more pictures and videos.
Yes, very true. My general rule of thumb is to buy something with at least twice the amount of space I need, because file sizes are only going to get bigger! Not sure how much space you need now, or how long it's taken you to get that far, but that's the method I use.
I have 2TB.
Its a lot.
I only use like 500gb.

I do a little bit of photography and videography, so I have many terrabytes of pictures and videos I've taken over the years! I do keep digital copies of my TV shows and movies so I don't need to dig out the disks though, so that takes up some space too.
