My old room mate had a crappy flip phone up until about a year ago. He never had used google maps. He knew how to navigate cities as he would read about them before he visited. He is a real character.

But then in Nashville he could barely park his car without scanning some qr bullshit machine. That was the end for him. He now has smart phone.
