Not yet. Apparently, our yard is in a convenient spot for dropping off the babies for the day, because something like this happened last year, too.

Usually, just during the day. The mom's go out and graze during the day and then come back for their babies.

This one's been really quiet.
Last year, the fawn freaked out after it saw us and couldn't figure out how to get of our yard. It was sprinting back and forth along the back fence. I don't think it helped that this happened during a thunderstorm.
I had to go out and open the side gate and then try to herd the fawn in that direction.

they get injured when they freak out. Good on you to do that. I heard cats and deer get along pretty well.

We still had a dog last year, which probably added to the freak out.
