More often in the front yard, but there are lots of deer in our area.

We also had a whole flock of turkeys back there last summer.

Oh. Let's see. The flock is composed of wild turkey, definitely some jive turkeys and a decent smattering of turkey vultures. When the subway car is full, they really have to squeeze in...we call that turkey stuffing.

Usually, just during the day. The mom's go out and graze during the day and then come back for their babies.

This one's been really quiet.

Last year, the fawn freaked out after it saw us and couldn't figure out how to get of our yard. It was sprinting back and forth along the back fence. I don't think it helped that this happened during a thunderstorm.

I had to go out and open the side gate and then try to herd the fawn in that direction.

My zapping doesn't work. When I click on the lightning icon nothing happens. I tried disabling delayed zaps, but that didn't change it. @ek - bug report

Oh and there is a bug with the new zap undo animation not being visible if you haven't zapped an item before. Fixed that in this PR.

I assume you’re zapping from an attached wallet since that would explain it:

In the last release, we removed the toasts and used optimistic updates for non-custodial zaps so it immediately looked like it succeeded while the payment was attempted in the background.

However, a bug in this optimistic code broke replies showing up so we had to remove this immediate visual feedback. So I think that’s what you’re seeing: nothing because the payment is still pending. Do you see pending payments in your wallet logs on SN?

While writing this I got an idea how to fix this missing feedback in a way that doesn’t break replies.

I think inequality is something people have a really hard time thinking about.

If you changed it from wealth quintiles to age quintiles, I think people would actually do better at estimating wealth inequality. Poor people tend to be young and in debt, while older people have had time to accumulate assets and tend to be wealthier.

Trust is a web though and and all of these things are relative. You are likely one of the highest trust stackers post bug fix, so you zapping something carries a lot more weight than it had.

Statutes:

Statutes, acts, codes, regulations are all quoted within court and the judge is hoping that your silence is acceptance of these jurisdictions, so it is assumed you have accepted them.

Remedy: when acts and statutes are used, ask who is administrating them and if the court has evidence that you are an employee of the government.

Note: within the legal system the people are “governed” by consent, and therefore acts, statutes and regulations cannot be forced onto a natural living person.

The court is operating as a “foreign vessel” at dry dock, and is not currently under any other jurisdiction, this is why so many people fall foul of this deception by quoting from other jurisdictions of law which are not applicable.

So before quoting acts, statutes, rules and regulations you should ensure that the court is operating with the correct jurisdiction, so ask the following questions:

1. Is the court operating within the Bill of Rights act 1688-1689? 2. Is the Coronation Oath act 1688 current statute law? 3. Do you accept the jurisdiction of the bench book?

Once these jurisdictions have been confirmed, you can now quote legislation from them.
