種瓜得瓜,種豆得豆。 The saying I come in contact with usually say the melon line before bean line. But it means the same thing.
Thanks, it's been a while since I've read it. I like it a lot more than our "You reap what you sow", although they seem like they'd mean the same thing.

I believe so, at least I think they are both desirable and staple foods. It is, like you said, another way of saying you reap what you sow.
