Bitcoin inheritance plan allows the easy transfer of Bitcoin to a beneficiary.
Types Are:
Third-party Custody: Trusting a third-party to secure your bitcoin on your behalf.
Collaborative Custody: Multiple parties (the owner, beneficiary, and service provider) hold different keys to access the Bitcoin wallet.
Self custody: Taking ownership of your hardware wallets and private keys.
Which one of these types, would you recommend?

During the process of planning or putting together the inheritance plan, the big decision is if you want to protect your Bitcoin while you're a live or you want to give access to your family members when you're gone.

Without self custody it's not your Bitcoin Hold it yourself and educate people around you how Bitcoin works. That's it that's the plan

Only Self Custody. There are always people who you can trust for sharing the keys. You just need to be following Indian culture for this. We still believe and practice a joint family culture. I share my keys with my brother, sister, wife and my mother. However, they all are very much unknown what those keys actually mean. But, considering I die or can't use my funds by myself, they'll be able to do so. I've planned about how my family can inherit my coins, rather giving the custody away to someone/something else.

Self custody. This will take a lot of thought and time but ultimately the best way to hold bitcoin

ATM collaborative custody is the best choice to minimize risk of catastrophic loss upon your death, while having most (not all) of the benefits of self-custody
