I recently made it to Africa for the first time in this lifetime, to be more specific Cairo in Egypt to see the pyramids.

I've heard a lot of people talk about Africa, and have seen all sorts of images and videos, but I did not know myself, using my own senses directly, that it existed before getting on the ground there...

The phenomenon is in my opinion like that, now, it is safe & sane to regard it as real even when you have not experienced it yourself with your own senses. Simple as that :-)
