I want stackers to watch this video and give me your thoughts:

It’s Irrational to Ignore UFOs (David Grusch is a Big Deal)

Didn't move the needle for me.
Parsing vague statements from the class of professional liars just isn't very meaningful. Remember when they had all seen the evidence of WMD in Iraq or the various components of the Russia collusion story? Truth is not deducible from regime statements.
reply
Truth is not deducible from regime statements.
Almost all of the regime statements are things like this:
Am I going crazy here? Isn't it you all who are following the regime statements and dismissing the topic?
Maybe I should transfer the territory to the Pentagon, since they know what's really going on.
reply
You misunderstand my point. I don't dismiss the topic, but the video you asked us to watch relied heavily on arguments like "Look at how seriously all these serious people are taking this issue."
I reject that the group of politicians and deep state actors being referred to deserve to be taken at face value, given their track records with honesty. I also don't believe any of the DOD's statements, for the same reasons.
The point about congressman objecting to the eminent domain provision on behalf of their corporate donors was certainly interesting and suggestive, but it was also unconfirmed speculation.
reply
"Look at how seriously all these serious people are taking this issue."
Fair enough, this video is more for 'no-coiners' of the UFO topic who still take governments seriously. He spends a lot of time simping for the politicians. And there's certainly no shortage of UFO people that think "We need to band together, vote for the right politicians and build a One World Government" is the answer.
Forget about the politicians, they will become irrelevant soon anyways, listen to the first hand witnesses over the last 80 years. I have no doubt that the more people start to pay attention, the more
"interesting and suggestive"
things they will begin to notice.
I have a feeling one of your main gripes is with the purported physics involved? Maybe our physics is as broken as our money is?
reply
I actually find the purported physics pretty intriguing. One of my thoughts has been that these aren't really craft in the way we'd think of that, but rather they might be matter holograms.
The science of matter holograms is reasonably well understood, but they're enormously energy intensive. If those craft are being projected, that might explain the anomalous observations.
reply
Are you Eric Weinstein? ;)
reply
Obviously, I can't confirm or deny that.
I've seen a few other people echo the hologram idea, but pretty much any undergraduate physics major should at least wonder if that's what's going on.
reply
Thanks, as always, for humoring me on this topic.

Project Bluebeam distraction?
The government has a HUGE vested interest in us believing and being frightened by, amorphous threats that can appear and disappear depending on the circumstance.
If they lie about the small inconsequential things (ie. rate of inflation), why should we trust them now that they "just want to be honest with us?"
reply
Yes project blue beam, sure.
But two things can be true at once:
People operating within the USG want the populace to be afraid and uninformed about UFOs to maintain power and control
AND
Exotic crafts are flying around in our skies, have been for decades, their propulsion systems could fix energy on this planet, and TPTB do not want this technology to reach the masses for obvious reasons.
Maybe they aren't ETs, maybe they are, but once you accept that we’ve been lied to about our science, just like we’ve been lied to about our MONEY, the thought of another civilization visiting Earth becomes obvious, see The Drake Equation.

1 hour and 20 minutes is a long time... I don't rule out the possibility of aliens, but I think UFOs are military experiences. I believe that aliens are far more advanced than humans and would not let themselves be caught.
reply
To me this is the equivalent of: “The bitcoin whitepaper is too long to read, money probably works fine as it is”
reply
It's challenging for me to dedicate 1 hour and 20 minutes to watch something I have a strong opinion about. I don't claim to hold the absolute truth, but this is my stance. Is there a video summary that highlights the key points?
edit: "The white paper can be read in much less time.
reply
Yeah it’s long but it’s honestly the best summary out there right now. It’s recent, from about three weeks ago, and breaks down the 80ish years of the topic so there’s a lot to get into.
I will work on a write up of it though, and even try getting Dr Brown on SN for an AMA or something.
