A similar thing happened to me not long ago, the coffee here fluctuates between 1.3€ and 1.8€, and I went to a coffee shop in the town and they charged me 1€ for coffee, and I told the owner that it had been at least 10 years since no one charged me only 1€ for a coffee in a coffee shop/bar, he replied "here it has been served all our life at 1€ and it will continue to be so"
