About 6 years ago, I started a personal project in order to learn how to make brief descriptions, resume and short format writing. Those days I started to read about the Catholic Church and decided to make a brief description of each Pope. 1,2,3...until 266...well, not made about Pope Francis because he still alive hehe.
I learned like, a lot. Those are leaders of all kind: good men, bad men, corrupts, saints, Doctors, stories, anecdotes, things I didn't get at the time but reading what happened in those times, takes some logical conclusion...you learn a lot and I have +20 pages of handwriting with my personal notes.
Now, here's my dilemma: what to do with this?, what are your suggestions about personal findings?
I'm stuck, first time I have this feeling. On one hand I want to share my findings and on the other hand it's a repeated topic and you can find info about those leaders at Wikipedia.
Would love to read some of those notes you made. This reminds me of the kind of study of authors I've done. It's like learning history through the caricature of one particular type of human.

Why don't you share your work here in SN and see how the community reacts?

Ok, I'll start and make some posts about this topic. I'll prepare my findings and share with you guys :)
Appreciate the feedback everyone :D

Tell us about the most interesting ones! Like the one who was dug up & put on a trial as a corpse ;-)
And does 266 include the alternate popes in France?
reply
No sir, those are really interesting in the XV century and made the Church to have three popes at the same time. That's the declive point where people started to doubt about the real power and how the God's ambassador was chosen.

The Christian popes lives are full of movie-worthy episodes. I enjoyed seeing the story of Pope Alexander VI (Borgias) portrayed in two television series. I've noticed that you're interested in this topic as well, so it's worth checking out.
