I thought the Meta sub arrived earlier than June. k00b described it as a place to request SN features, so I was actually using it properly by starting the meta takeover which was just a very large and roundabout feature request.
I was a little surprised to see it here, as well. My recollection is that we were already clamoring for territories ("subs" at the time), prior to ~meta being created. It'll be interesting to revisit how that all played out.
For some reason I thought meta came before tech or at the same time as tech but evidently not.
I thought they were concurrent, too.
Thanks! Reading this helped me understand the context behind @ek’s Zap to Zero initiative. And he must have succeeded recently because I saw freebie attached to his nym. 😱
And ek, when you read this, hope you have had a great mental reset

Oh, ok. I'm not sure that actually had much to do with it. I think he was testing the reward algorithm more than anything else.
