fiat money is the only world religion, ultimately.
every cult will eventually generate a token or a symbol, in order to gather allegiance from unsuspecting fools. people who claim to not care about money still swear allegiance to some symbol or talisman, and ultimately a religion. other words for religion or a cult is cult-ure.
the power of creation by the common people is then captured by dark evil forces, when people start believing in some sort of talisman, token, symbol on paper, etc. people literally carry around talismans. a cap with allegiance to a religion or a sports team is a talisman (funny how the symbols are placed directly over the forehead, the third eye).
bitcoin is different, changing the dynamics of religions forever. proof of work abstracted to the level of energy of the universe.
thoughts? how do we explain this to people who hate money? is bitcoin - money?

Fiat is a subset of man's default, fallen state, in which our tendency is to turn inward and rely on ourselves. Fiat is simply a manifestation of pride.
Crypto is the same thing as fiat, and Vitalik put this on display when he said he wants to create a money that doesn't adhere to the laws of physics. That's exactly what printing manipulating money supply does - break the laws of physics.
Fiat and crypto are more than money, they're an attempt to play god.
But eliminating fiat only eliminates a specific symptom of the underlying problem, and I see it having no impact on religion as a whole.
Even if money is decentralized and cannot be manipulated, it will still be used as a tool for gaining power and playing god, so we are right to continue to "hate" money, even bitcoin, in that sense.

i disagree that pride is an inward look at ourselves. if we really looked at ourselves, we would be humbled. pride by fiat is indoctrinated, a focus on the outward manifestation of ourselves and our thoughts, completely bypassing the spiritual "heart/love/care" stage.

i see. fiat money is the most powerful instrument of evil today. when fiat money takes the abstract form of rations, allowances on the cbdc standard, rather than digits, we will have to work on people's pride. that must be the reason pride is being pushed so hard.
the path of a fool-soul starts in the crazy challenging world, and the first step to the higher consciousness is humility. kabbalah goes over this process. most people never start. they are the unbegun.
