Are you my neighbor, is it not celebrated in Portugal? or is it that you don't like to celebrate it? I used to celebrate it, but now it's a holiday that I don't pay attention to, in Spain it's normal to celebrate it as Itermathi says below.
Congratulations on the victory over Italy, Spain was unstoppable.
In Portugal, the summer solstice is not celebrated and it is not a national holiday. It is likely that some people may celebrate it, but it is not a cultural tradition. Instead, this month there are two major popular festivals: Santo António in Lisbon and São João in Porto. These are municipal holidays and are the two largest popular festivals in the country.

Thank you! It was a good game for Spain, but we should have won by more difference, many wasted opportunities.
I understand, I didn't know about those festivals, are they religious festivals?
reply
Spain should have scored more, for sure. They hit the post a few times and the Italian goalkeeper made some great saves.
Roughly speaking, they are popular festivals in honor of the saints.
