Left or Right?

Historically, left-leaning outlets have slammed Bitcoin mainly on environmental grounds, arguing that Bitcoin mining consumes too much energy and harms the planet.
Now it's simply shifted to “Trump = BAD” without a nuanced examination of Bitcoin's potential benefits to the people they portray to represent or its role in technological innovation.
So, is Trump's stance on Bitcoin mining a strategic move or a political tactic?
Recently, we've been served so much of Trump's love for Bitcoin that it's already become indigestible. I don't put my faith in left or right, nor I mean to profess either of them for anyone.
What I am so happy about is the involvement of Bitcoin in politics. Over the years, I've witnessed that pre-election conventions are becoming more and more inclined towards Bitcoin.
Who knows the elections in 2028 will be fought for or against 'A Bitcoin Economy in the US'! Things are going too fast these days. It seems, it was just yesterday when Trump said, “I am not a fan of Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies, which are not money, and whose value is highly volatile and based on thin air,” (Left)
“I will ensure that the future of crypto and bitcoin will be made in the USA, not driven overseas. I will support the right to self-custody to the nation’s 50 million crypto holders. (Right)
“With your vote, I will keep Elizabeth Warren and her goons away from your bitcoin. And I will never allow the creation of a central bank digital currency.” (Outright)
Now, when the federal agencies are trying to put a kill switch on privacy and self custody, do Trump's words (mere words) not console you? They are politicians after all, known to change their words according to time and situation. I only enjoy the humour part of them.
Thanks for reading!!
Sats for all...
There is no left or right There are no political parties There is no state There are only forces for good vs. forces for evil
Bitcoin vs. Central Banks is the same war patriots and tyrants have fought for hundreds, maybe thousands of years.
Trump isn't new to Bitcoin, neither are his national security people that installed him in 2016, they're finishing the same war Jefferson and Jackson fought.
You're living through a scripted movie, drip declassification of history, ENJOY THE SHOW

Everything is a political tactic, from both (all) sides

That's because they have to be "counter" Trump. It's the only definition they have left.

I doubt Trump has even a slight comprehension of anything Bitcoin, but I think he's also sincere in wanting it to be "made in America".
Whoever came up with that pitch to him deserves a medal.
reply
He and Melania have released several bitcoin centric offerings. I think they know something about it.
reply
OK, if I'm wrong, I'm wrong. However, don't you think it's possible that he's not directly overseeing endeavors like that?
reply
Sure, but to make an offering on there means you somewhat have to understand something about it. Biden knows something about it in terms of CBDC's.
reply
That's fair. I just meant that he likely doesn't know any of the specifics of how Bitcoin functions or how it's different from other digital currencies. Maybe I'm selling him short, though.
reply
I think Trump probably learns stuff about money, quickly.

We can also use solar power, is there any problem in that too. I stay away from politics anyway.

I don’t trust any politicians endorsement of Bitcoin. Maybe Buekele and I think Vivek understands it well but he isn’t running in the US election anymore. A couple stackers have suggested Vivek might be advising Trump on his bitcoin stance.
