Suppose, you aren't too sure about your pick or you, by any chance, miss to predict the result of a game stands as maiden over here for the pool.
In cricket maiden over is when a batsmen play an over without scoring a single run by bat.

It's obviously better than a wrong selection, right? Can you get eliminated from the pool by choosing not to pick?

No, but you will only get 3 maiden overs. If you play the fourth one, it will be considered 'as a wrong descision'.

I've already said in my previous post to just clarify if there's any confusion. Now, I suspect that there won't be any survivor for the semifinals and finals!!
