This is what I used in my PhD program. It's fine, if you're going to use LaTeX.

Yes, Overleaf is the Jupyter Of LaTeX. Great for collaboration where git would be overkill (for the people involved).

It's a neat system, but for self hosting it requires a lot of ram the last time I checked.
