There are indeed a few persian and chinese money changers in the city that will cheaply swap Bitcoin to cash. I do suspect most of their volume is in tether though

I thought it was supposed to be hard to move money out of china. Not impossible, but strongly discouraged.

And sometimes it's hard to move money into China. There are many ways though, Tether is relatively popular but so are insurance schemes and shadow banks

What are insurance schemes and shadow banks? I always heard it is easy to move money into china, just hard to move it out.
