If someone published a paper about this link in the U.S., the health agencies would declare all stock market fluctuations a "public health emergency" and expand their powers to control what stocks we can buy or sell.

One can only hope. The stock market is already mostly manipulated and the small players don't have much chance. Maybe power becoming so overt would be the final push that people need to go fully into bitcoin and stop playing stupid stock market games.
