It's so funny when they compare him unfavorably to Krugman by saying that at least Krugman is making a point worthy of dissecting (I forget how they put it exactly).

Yeah, I thought that was good as well.
When people like Reich who I believe is very intelligent gloss over stuff as he does in these video's it makes me think this more malice vs. ignorance or just being wrong.

I'm not sure if it's malice when you're indifferent to the truth. I just think he's a sophist and he'll say whatever he thinks might persuade people to his side.
Krugman is also a sophist, but I think he might also be narcistic enough that he wants to have the appearance of great intellectual sophistication.
