Relaxation depends person to person.Which depends upon his likes, dislikes and behaviour . Some like to dance ,sing by this this they feel relax and enjoy and for some others it may be sleep or travel .I say it’s not about what we do but it’s about how we do it to get relaxed and get enjoyed on the same time. I love to dance. I usually do that or listen to music.

Nowadays I’m busy and working for myself (I left my job recently). As I own my work, so my time and my work are mine.

I have the time and choice so, I can do what I like. Many options!

So, tell SN, What do you do to relax yourself?

Hehe, You guys are lucky.. Since nowadays its mostly hybrids for productivity, its harder to get pure strains. Also, a lot of those claiming to be 100% are 90:10..

Fiction. The medium doesn't need to matter. It just has to be good.

Otherwise I just like sitting or laying and not thinking about anything in particular.

reply

Reading fiction is definitely an interesting way to relax! My wife does it too! Though, I get bored often.

Music is a therepy in itself!!

reply

Therepy!! Didn't think that way..

If I’ve got energy and feel generally ok I’ll meditate. If I’m tired I prefer to listen to a podcast and crash on the couch. Sunday afternoons are great!

Honestly a good ole few hour bushwalk with the doggo, no phone clears the head and full of gratitude

I've been practicing yoga nidra (yogic sleep) for the past couple of months and it has greatly enhanced my ability to relax. Has helped improve my overall stress levels throughout the day, and my sleep quality at night.

reply

Yes. Yoga nidra is great for relaxation. It reduces stress levels.

reply

I would add to the list sex and sports.

reply

Honestly, playing games on my phone destresses me. Thndr Games and ZBD have some fun games that pay in sats as well :)

reply

My favorite way to relax is just eat and sleep for the whole day, no work, no going out, no visitors, just me my kitchen and my bed

reply

Sports. I used to do breakdancing also but with the coronavirus it stopped, so now just sports.

reply

Light physical activity on a stationary bike while reading stacker news. Always feel more relaxed afterwards.

reply

Music and nature have always given me so much peace and calm. They have allowed me to restart my day, my week and even my month.
