Yes, but that's different, that agreement between member states is not part of the Treaty document. It's just promise by countries.

It is an offensive club devoid of any legitimacy after the Warsaw pact was dissolved. Warmongers keep NATO alive and justify their bloated bureaucracy by making up new villains to bomb. The only hope for peace is to sat no to NATO and US and starve the beast until it dies

NATO was established six years before Warsaw pact (1949 v 1955).

Can you give examples of "making up new villains to bomb"? Most NATO missions have been either response to attacks or UN sanctioned missions.
