Worth discussing sure. I personally feel they draw you out of conversation and a good search function should find things regardless. Hashtags were a great invention but have a grafitti-esque quality to social posts. Better used in private applications IMO. This site is so clean and orderly and the conversation is excellent. New features are great but real success would be maintaining this level of quality with scale.
