It seems like we're on different pages because I rated both of these series very highly. If you don't like the style, that's one thing, but you shouldn't give up on a series after just one episode. I almost quit watching 'Breaking Bad' during the first season, but I'm glad I didn't because it got much better and became one of my favorites. The same thing happened with 'Fargo'.
