To tell you the truth, I tell people about stacker news by phone. When I talk to my friends, I talk about this site, but I dont really give them a referral link.

Not sure last time I talked to a friend by phone ;) But for sure, in-person recommendations are probably the best...

Yeah, so it ends up being not a referral, but I feel I am not pushing something on them then. Its just more authentic.
