Me & Kit went down to in & out burger, as we didn't have nothing to do. As some cheese juice dibbled down my chin, Kit's proximity warning detector went off, indicating a disturbance nearby. We cruised over, in a cool fashion.
Upon reaching the signal point it was clear this was a mass disturbance. Many many cars were parked along the wayside, to the point that me and Kit were wondering where to park. We just kept driving down the strip, between the parked cars, towards the party lights and the increasingly audible techno music. Eventually we were at the party head proper, with massive speakers on our left and right sides, with lights flashing all around us & music so loud it shook the earth itself. People were all around us, dancing their heads off. We stopped right there & Kit automatically triggered the shield mode feature.
After a minute we didn't know what to do and were getting some strange looks. So I said 'Kit, engage party mode', at which point Kit immediately deployed his lazer sweeping front grill and stealth radar strobe device, which had the supernatural effect of looking like random individual lights shining down and in and out from the surrounding trees, like crazy owl eyes.
After a couple of minutes, two extremely attractive humans, with not much clothing apparently, climbed up onto Kit's hood and started dancing. Somehow this did something to Kit and he started making very strange noises, which I hadn't heard before. So in a very cool and calm way, I quickly jumped out of the car and into the crowd.
After all this I had a slight headache, but lucky for us these people were friendly & offered me a pill for my head.
After that it was a bit of a blur, but I do remember a deep connection with some (if not all) of those freaks. Plus at some point I am sure we saw Kit flying over us as we lay between a couple of hedgerows (he was probably just checking up on me I guess).
We stayed up till well after sunrise and ended up giving a few people a ride back into town, one of whom went by the name Naomi who was some kind of computer expert or whatever, I don't know.
Anyway, we got home safe & then felt pretty rough... We couldn't fight crime for a couple days after that.
Still, me and Kit both agree it was worth it, cos we got to make some new friends, plus I think Kit had a thing for Naomi. So you never know, we might meet 'em again someday.
Stay safe out there freaks. May y'all be happy, peaceful and liberated :)
