Because the world needs SN.

Theoretically, the quality of content and community should be better with SN than the trash that is reddit, X/Twitter, facetrash, etc. in practice that is true, but the difference is not yet as pronounced as I had expected by this point in time.

The network effect is so much stronger than I would have imagined, but the SN metrics show steady growth over time.

At some point I expect SN to be the place to be. Or at least, force the others to add Bitcoin monetization for user generated content.

I am here only to learn new things and I am learning as well.

I've multiple reasons!! 😉 Fun can be the biggest supplier! However, there are some Stackers that seem to be here 'Only for Sats' by just posting 100s of links on daily basis!

People who are getting engaged on posts or comments can have reasons but what about someone who only shows up with a link and starts finding another link to flood SN with links, links, links, and links.

I don't know but sometimes it irritates me to see lot of futile links with only one or two creative posts! I listened @k00b and @Car saying that 'who knows, may be this is the way? A right way?'

100 links a day? A right way? Not judging but just thinking about what may be his reason?

I am a bit of a hermit. I'm my physical life I have very little human interaction. I think stacker is a good place for me to stay just a little connected to broader society.

Stacker news is the perfect platform for exchanging ideas/thoughts/interesting news against sound money

SN is a fun site with like minded people. Facebook largely ignores my content, my friends don’t see it and I have to suffer the endless ads . So it’s really no contest. SN is miles ahead.

It’s a combination of things. You may get some sats while you’re learning and interacting with others. A win-win situation.

That was tough. I’m here to have fun discussions where I stay informed and learn new things.

For a number of reasons. I find I get more engagement here. Its also cool when you get some sats for a post or a comment. Have definitely learned a lot too.

Honestly it's the only place I can check for news without getting high blood pressure from all the anxiety of clickbaity scary news.

If there is another outlet like SN please let me know

A little bit of everything combined I would say. This is obviously one of the best platforms for bitcoiners to connect, learn and earn all while passing time and trolling others in a fun and informative way.

I'm still new to this... but I had never entered or interacted in a social network if that's what you can call it... so complete... so versatile and also for saying what you think the other people or groups that make up the community support you with sats... I mean, your opinion is valid and worth the effort you make when commenting... that is why S.N's information is so clear and educates those of us who are starting out like me 👍

A lot of reasons, primarily Bitcoin related, of course. It's a community of people who all seem to share a similar disposition as me. Young site, which gives it a tight-knit community feel, and of course the lightning voting system which forces a user to put their work where their mouth is.

Aesthetics, information, entertainment... I could go on. But that's the core of it. It's perfect to me, and it's something unique to(in?) my lifetime.

Here I met soulmates. I read their posts and zap it. Sometimes I write them comments and if I get some zaps on these comments I truly know there's my soulmates on the other side of stackerNews

I consider SN as a platform to learn, and talk mainly about Bitcoin without all the external noise of the No-coiners that you find on other platforms like (X) and mainly to talk about any aspect of life, but I know that in this community everyone We go around looking at the world through orange glasses 😎🍊 and looking at life from the perspective of a bitcoiner is the best way to do it, and to learn how the rest of the aspects work in the world around us.
