I can't tell how this works exactly, but it sounds more like you give them 500k euros, they hold 100% of it in bitcoin ETFs, charging a 2% annually recurring fee and a 10% performance fee (ie they take 10% of appreciation), and then they give you citizenship under Portugal's "golden visa" terms.

Yep! It is kind a fund you need to invest 500k euros or BTC equivalent and stay 1 year following golden visa terms.
Anyway, in my vision already is a good step. In the future we can have with low amounts like 0.1 or 0.01 BTC to get VISA in anyplace.

Isnt it easier to become a citizen in italy through their house purchasing program?
