Ugh. I just received this email. If you thought the lines in 2021 were bad, wait until you see 2024's.
Key measures impacting your experience:
- Security Lines: Security lines will take time. Expect delays and plan accordingly.
- Bags: We strongly recommend no bags. It will add to your delay entering the building and secure areas. Review the Prohibited Items list.
- Nakamoto Stage: We will not accommodate every attendee. We encourage you to watch the Trump’s speech from the other six stages (and Kennedy’s speech in the Karl Dean Ballroom.)
Two Layers of Security
Venue Entrance:
- All attendees will pass through a magnetometer.
- Bags (small backpacks, purses, diaper bags) will be searched. No large packages, bags, or luggage will be allowed.
- Bags will slow your entry; only bring essentials.
Nakamoto Stage:
- Attendees will pass through a 2nd magnetometer screening to access the seating area.
- Trump’s Speech (Saturday, 2pm):
- Access starts at 8:00am for all pass types.
- Whale and Industry Pass holders must enter through Enterprise Hall and must be seated by 12:45pm.
- Doors close at 1:45pm.
- Kennedy’s Speech (Friday, 4pm):
- Access starts at 8:00am for all pass types.
- Whale and Industry Pass holders must enter through Enterprise Hall and must be seated by 2:45pm.
- Doors close at 3:45pm.
- No seat saving; every seat will be filled. We recommend arriving with the group you want to sit with.
- No privacy masks will be allowed in Nakamoto Stage. They are permitted elsewhere in the building.
Nakamoto Stage Capacity:
- Room capacity is limited to 8,000 seats. We expect 20,000 attendees. Seats for speeches are not guaranteed, and latest arrivals will be standing. When capacity is reached, you will be encouraged to watch Trump’s speech from the other stages.
Viewing Options:
- Karl Dean Ballroom Watch Party: Skip the lines, grab a beer and watch Trump’s speech with friends.
- Note: The Karl Dean Ballroom will stream Nakamoto Stage content all day, both days.
- Mining, Open Source, Genesis, Enterprise, and The Deep Backstage:
- All open for viewing.
- Enterprise and The Deep Backstage: Located inside the Secret Service perimeter. We recommend staying until speeches end to avoid delays re-entering.
Prohibited Items:
The following items are prohibited from entering the venue and Nakamoto stage:
- Outside food and drink
- Alcoholic beverages
- Large Banners, signs, placards
