If they're old, it's usually bringing their attention to the pain of fiat and the investing rat race. "Bitcoin doesn't have this problem." I'd recommend books if they are readers, but people don't really read so it's difficult. I'll usually offer to send them videos if they seem curious enough, but I haven't had anyone take me up on it.
