Good morning Stacker.News and happy Friday,
We are excited to announce that in the coming days, we will be adding the DATEV export interface to our @OPAGO_PAY Merchant Dashboard, and this feature will initially be free of charge.
In addition to CSV, PDF, and CoinTracking info reports, incoming Bitcoin Lightning payments can now be exported in the DATEV format. This makes it easy for accountants to upload the data automatically via import dialog or manually. This ensures a seamless transition of Lightning payments into the accounting system.
DATEV is a German software company that specializes in providing software and IT services primarily for tax consultants, auditors, and lawyers, as well as their clients. The company's main focus is on accounting, tax, and payroll software and was founded on February 14, 1966, in Nuremberg, Germany. The company was established to offer data processing services to tax advisors, which has since expanded to include a wide range of software solutions and services.
You already know my firm position about "tax consultants"... pure garbage. But I admire the dedication of Opago to fulfill the demand from this kind of stuff. This is a good thing, to help those merchants.
This ensures a seamless transition of Lightning payments into the accounting system.
I will repeat! Bitcoin (LN) it should be considered as just CASH. No more no less. So the accounting system is already prepared to deal with "cash", so you could just add it as "digital cash". THAT'S ALL.

Hello @DarthCoin, thank you for your comment.
Currently, the EU has not yet recognized Bitcoin as a foreign currency, but as soon as that changes, there will naturally be adjustments. We want to provide our merchants with all the tools they demand to make it as easy as possible for them to accept Bitcoin payments.

I LITERALLY do not give a shit about what EU says or do. Read more here about the "legitimacy" of Bitcoin: #592553
