The fact that upon birth we are given a social security number leads me to believe that is either an asset or liability on the governments balance sheet, just like any income producing asset at a company.
btw, you should be able to check it on cusip.com or ask a trusted broker or securities dealer to do the research for you.

It is, you'll be surprised! It's actually a bond traded in the market, it grows in value from the trades, but also from your accomplishments in life, like degrees, licenses, mortgages and many other "contracts" you sign... you (we) don't even know!
For the majority all this garbage is taboo, people don't talk about these manners, and we should… for our own benefits and freedom. You/we think Bitcoin provide freedom, well, it's just a tool of freedom. The rabbit hole is much deeper and dark.
