Straight answer is a yes. First of all, I would like to disclose that I am not a developer of the app or earning from them, apart from my daily steps or the challenge.
At the beginning of July, we could learn that a new app was going to be launch #601939 and we could have the opportunity to earn bitcoin by walking or completing challenges.
As a bitcoin beginner, I was happy to give it a chance and downloaded the app. As you know, I am trying to walk daily above 10000 steps, and I saw it as a new opportunity to stack some sats.
The app´s free version allows you to earn up to 10 sats daily for 10000 steps. For example, walking the same distance in sMiles gives you up to 15 sats daily.
But the difference is in completing the challenge. On July 15th, they launched the first challenge where you need to walk up to 7500 steps daily to add up to 45 points a day. The challenge lasted 2 weeks and competitors had to add 630 points to be eligible for a share of the pot.
107 people joined the challenge. There was a fee to join of 3000 sats. The pot reached 321000 sats. One of the cons is that, even though you walk the distance, you must open the app, so the steps are recorded in the app. You must do it daily. At the end of the 2 weeks, 23 people completed the challenge.
Today I have received the reward, just above 12000. I must say that it was really easy to transfer the funds to one of my wallets. If you do the maths, 12313 x 23 equals 283199 sats, 37801 sats short of 321000. Not sure if I have the winner’s number wrong or the app keeps part of the pot.
Just a week ago, they have launched a new challenge to commence in September. In this occasion, the entry fee is 10000 sats and you must walk 10000 steps daily for 2 weeks to qualify for a share of the prize. The pot is already 210000 sats and you can join up to September 4th.
Would you fancy a challenge?
Never heard of this app. I like the challenge aspect though. I will give it a try.

The challenge adds motivation to keep on walking daily. But it’s important to keep logging until you get the steps. There have been a couple of days that I walked well above the 10000 steps but I did not log in the app after achieving the 7500 steps and I did not receive the 2-3 Sats until the 10000.

Is it like Smiles. Do you just have to open the app to register your steps?
reply
Yes, it is. Just need to open the app and your steps are registered.

I was enjoying it, but I haven't been able to sign back into my account.
reply
Yes , it happened to me a couple of times. Fortunately, I had the password in a password manager and could sign back again.
