I always complain about the US, but maybe I should start to appreciate the admittedly not perfect, but extant, power that our states still have. I don't believe Florida or Texas would go along with these mandates.

everyone looks at the world through the prism they've been put into, and so has a different perspective. but I can tell you one thing: the United States is light years away from the mud we're crawling around in in Europe these days

I didn't think so. If I had an EU passport, that's where I would be heading! I visited Budapest a few years ago. I also have aquaintances with family in Hungary. They relocated to the US about 20 years ago.

That or Czech Republic. I have heard good things about that place.

Well, I have to be here to take care of some things, then I might think of moving. I guess it really depends on how this economy shakes out. How much money printing happens. I was thinking of going to Scotland. Or I can move to Japan.

Federalism is important. Nations have lost all power in the EU or they should start fighting back. Wasn’t the EU supposed to be an economic union, a common market?
