Well played everyone! @grayruby said last that he had enjoyed this Olympics pool more than the Olympics itself! I thought he was just exaggerating a bit. But while my fingers were calculating the results, I was enjoying being a referee who looked over one of the best bouts in sports history.
Initially, it was @TNStacker and and @Carresan who were exchanging top places with @Undisciplined and @IamSINGLE fighting it hard to come on top. But then came a storm of many back to back sudden blows from @Undisciplined (I mentioned it here #645348) and both @TNStacker and @Carresan had to go in defensive mode. A amazingly fantastic and superb come back that was!! A true Champion 🏆 @Undisciplined bags Gold 🥇.
That's not the show alone for once @IamSINGLE came crashing and reached to the top place leaving behind everyone with a very good margin. But, this is the nature of the game, @undisciplined again made a come back in Badminton to be on No. 1. Spot. That's not all @IamSINGLE also made a come back with a gold in Golf and lead the charts once again. But, it was the third last game where I just had to accept that @Undisciplined is a precog!! @IamSINGLE after giving a tough fight bags a Silver. You're a fighter for sure.
The fight for Bronze was even more interesting as it was being done between more than 2 stackers. @Carresan @grayruby and 0xbitcoiner all were going up and down with every game. But @TNStacker with his show in the initial games of the pool just couldn't be caught by any of them. @TNStacker bags a Bronze 🥉 this time.

As mentioned in the announcement post that all sats accumulated through Olympics Pool Prediction Post would constitute our prize pool which would be distributed 50%, 30% and 20% respectively to Gold, silver, and bronze medalist of the pool. The pool has accumulated 19545 Sats in total.* After deduction of 10% as fees, it becomes 17590. I'm rounding it off to 18000. So, the Gold 🥇 winner gets 9000 Sats, The Siver medalist gets 5400 Sats and The bronze medalist will get 3600 Sats as prize money.

TBH, I feel I could've planned it better and earlier to market it like I did with the cricket pool. The next time, I'll come up with a pool at least 15 days before for any big tournament.

That's right! It completely slipped my mind. I don't typically tune in for the winter games. Come to think of it, the Paralympics are happening at the end of August.

Well played @suraz! You would've even won this if you just not missed a few pool posts! Also, @Undisciplined shoed it that in sich pools single game prediction can do it for you. There were 20 pool posts and from every pool post stackers can win maximum of 12 points. If someone just did a bit of analysis and could come with 4 points each game on an average would've won it! Or, you only need to predict 6 post correctly tto be at 72 points!

Thanks! I'll coming up with another pool very soon! I started thia pool as an experiment thing and just at the very last moment. It could've been bigger and better only if I started it a bit earlier. I forgot to mention this in the post. I was just exhausted after 5 hours of calculation!!
I deliberately included Women's 66 Kg Boxing event (#631463) in the pool because that Man Boxer (Imane Khelif) from Algeria was competing in the same event. I thought that most of you would catch it and select him/her (I'm confused) as the winner. But surprisingly, noone caught it and selected other (real women) players to win!
Only 0xbitcoiner picked that photocopy (not even close) of a woman and he/she went on to win the Gold. Along with he/she, 0xbitcoiner also won the medal in that event.
I wanna ask you all, after all of the reading from the news, how you didn't recognise that Imane Khelif was competing in that event?? Or, you recognised but just didn't select him/her to show your protest? Did @0xbitcoiner support a man 🥊women in a single punch?

I like your attitude and honesty as well! But how come we all couldn't catch it? Most probably everyone was doing copying someone else's picks and adjusting just one or two pics and pasting them! Nobody just gave a bit to 2 minutes of analysis before picking the predictions?
I was going off of the available odds, whenever I could find them.
I didn't know that was the name or weight class of the male boxer at the time and to be honest I was just guessing in most of selections.

I'm convinced that no other stacker realized that the Algerian was the transsexual everyone was talking about. I picked Algeria because it was obvious she was going to win. I completely disagree with this participation. In fact, I read later that she had failed the pre-Olympic exams due to testosterone levels, but was somehow authorized anyway
