The monetary and military organs of state power are closely aligned and tend to run in tandem. Iran has only been able to continue as both a viable economy and a regional military force since US sanctions were imposed over a decade ago, because of trade and trade payments support from China.

Ah sorry you misunderstood, I mean I find it unlikely that the US wouldn’t know in advance if the Israelis did something like this. I do believe the Israelis did this lol, I don’t see who else it would be

The cyberattack is a smart move because Israel cannot afford another war: they have already lost the public relations war
I also blame USA for lifting sanctions vs Iran and facilitating their nuclear program in 2015
The Iraq invasion in 2003 was a mistake at the time and in hindsight.
Saddam Hussein was never a threat to Israel. Netanyahu lied or miscalculated.

This is at least the 10th attack on Iranian Central Bank in last 2 years. I suspect there's not enough security on them!
