I am currently exploring natural ways to improve my eyesight. The more I learned, the more I realized how dark our society is.
It seems many recent "product inventions" are mostly for profit. Hope Bitcoin will fix this.
The word profit is given negative connotation because lack of morality and unchecked greed. People should be rewarded for their labor

I agree, but not by purposely deceiving and then selling endless "products."

You both have a great point here and I think the answer is somewhere in between. Fiat has made a lot of very scammy things profitable. Meanwhile many carpenters, plumbers, house cleaners sit at median income.
After a lot of thought my only decent solution is that the working people demand more. This seems to be happening in society as we speak. And I don't mean some type of Marxist rebellion, simply a re-balancing one working individual at a time.

I agree with this. The laptop class (which I am apart off) become slaves to an email inbox yet the salary we make is ridiculous to what a mechanic or a roofer.

Where I live, plumbers and carpenters make BANK. House cleaners, not so much.

In hourly wage it seems but it doesn’t come close to a money manager. Why do you think the brightest minds get sucked into wall st? I think the pandemic exposed how little work traders do yet reap a tremendous rewards and profit. I think they are more unproductive than politicians and the rest of the laptop class including software programmers.

I read the Art of Seeing, by Aldous Huxley years ago. While it didn’t fix my vision, I haven’t been dependent on glasses since. For me, it frees me from my glasses, I don’t depend on them as much. It does frustrate my wife though, since I can’t see details.

Yes, I am currently reading it and the cure of imperfect sight without glasses by Bates and started experimenting with the method.
I love how they helped me understand why we have eyesight problems in the first place, as knowing the problems is the first step to solving them.
