Howdy there, partner! Welcome on into the Stacker Saloon.
Saddle on up to a stool and spill the beans about your day, fire away with them questions, or let loose and give us the lowdown on your wild and woolly life. We're all ears, so don't hold back!
We're open round the clock, so mosey on in whenever you please!
A simple explanation as to why a "Ministry of Truth" may not be such a great idea...
by Edward Snowden
I posted this a while ago, but given some of the recent developments around the world, I think it is an appropriate time for a reminder.
BTW. I'm quite certain that the proliferation of AI generated deepfakes will be the next step in trying to convince people of the "need for censorship." Yes, it will probably get crazy. Yes, fake news and false narratives will become even easier to create & spread. Yes, scammers will probably be able to call you, mimic your spouse/child/close friend and try to convince you that there is an emergency and that you need to send them money (most likely in an irreversible manner i.e. Bitcoin or Monero) ASAP. But, again, a central organization to govern over data is not the solution. The solution is common sense and a healthy dose of skepticism.
Here's a caveman-type method to avoid such pickles in the future:
  1. Get your family together
  2. Leave your phones in the house/car* (yes, leave them, if you can't remove the battery you can't be sure they're off) and go in the middle of a forest or anywhere else where there's no people nor electronics around
  3. Agree on a "safe word" that you would use whenever there's an ACTUAL emergency
(*) this is a “worst case” type of scenario in which we would assume that the scammers\AI have hacked\gotten access to the person’s devices, or at the very minimum, messenger app(s) as well
Simplistic? Yes. Paranoid? Maybe. But I would rather be paranoid for a reason than carefree for no reason.
Stay wild & stay free, my friends ❤️🤠

HOW TO BECOME A RICH 🤑
Becoming rich typically involves a combination of strategies and factors, including:
  1. Education and Skills: Invest in your education and skill development. High-paying jobs often require advanced skills or knowledge.
  2. Career Advancement: Focus on building a successful career. Seek promotions, negotiate salaries, and consider high-growth industries.
  3. Entrepreneurship: Start and grow your own business. Entrepreneurship can offer significant financial rewards, though it also carries risks.
  4. Investing: Make wise investments in stocks, real estate, or other assets. Diversify your portfolio and seek professional advice if needed.
  5. Saving and Budgeting: Live below your means, save regularly, and budget wisely to build wealth over time.
  6. Networking: Build a strong professional network. Connections can open doors to opportunities and partnerships.
  7. Continuous Learning: Stay informed about financial trends and investment opportunities to make informed decisions.
Remember, there are no guaranteed shortcuts to wealth, and success often requires time, effort, and perseverance.

Hey hey hey gang!! It's Saturday, I don't usually post on Saturday since I relax from devices but I wanted to send you some good vibes since I was using the phone, may your Saturday be phenomenally spectacular, enjoy the weekend, spend it with family, friends or alone, whatever you choose and seize it. Let all the week issues, situations, work, etc go and pamper yourself. A nice dinner, a walk through the park, the beach, a BBQ, a movie, whatever you choose and go for it living in the present. You're worthy, you deserve it and you are awesome don't forget it. As always my good friend, be well and stay frosty!!

I miss the bitcoin influencers of old that promoted self-custody and node running.
I really hope this cycle doesn't continue to be about ETFs, ossification, and ways to distract ourselves from ossification.

Community

The word community comes from the Latin communis, meaning “common, public, and shared”.
The first known or recorded use of the word community was in the 4th millennium BCE, and referred to a Civilization of Mesopotamia, which developed the first city-states.
Note: BCE stands for Before the Common Era, and refers to the Gregorian calendar.
Community also means “public”, municipal, and obviously communal, which became the foundation for communism. It means the opposite to private.
Note: Man is tribal, not communal. The word Tribunal comes from the world tribe, which is “common law”.
