Listening to my hockey pod ( https://fountain.fm/episode/U0beLp3GUjFZdhS5sX1e) and one of the hosts said he would take Nurse over Power which sounds crazy to me. What do you think stackers

Power is a lot younger and has a higher ceiling so if we are talking as a long term piece for a team I take Power but if we are talking a Cup contender that wants to bolster their D Line for a couple years then I go Nurse.
But nurse had a terrible plus minus this last post season run
True. He didn't play his best. I still like him and think he is a good veteran. I would rather build my D around Power though.
Just based on age Power is the obvious choice. He also has already proved he can play NHL caliber hockey.
Nurse is good, and he's got leadership qualities too.
Is this a hypothetical short term question, or who would you prefer to acquire in a trade?

I'd still go with Power. He's got a really good last name for a hockey player too.
Power is so young and by looking at their stats a bit I can confirm, the host was absolutely wrong.
