Although I may not agree with the author on all the issues raised, I see his point. The two party system is a disaster. I think about a parliamentary system where a black freedom party can embrace positions without worrying about having to cow tow to a broad spectrum of supposed political comrades. As a libertarian, I have dealt with this for years with the Republican Party.
I'm not suggesting a parliamentary system is the answer, but this two party stranglehold on US politics must end.

I often argue that two parties are a serious joke placed on us by the powerful. Especially if the purported intent is to represent the population. Parliamentary systems are not perfect, but they are more representative.
I've been a registered Republican, Democrat and Green. I even went through a period of only voting against incumbents regardless of party. It was all unsatisfactory. I think by intent.

This has always been my dad's approach to voting on judges.

I do think the premise of this is correct. Pandering to the black community is merely a vote getting “pit stop” for politicians.

Look at where the two party system has taken us. We need fresh blood in the system, no matter who it is.

although they promise that we are in this together they have only stopped by to use us.
